  • Publication number: 20230027663
Abstract: An audio processing method for an audio system for a seat headrest, the audio system having at least two loudspeakers positioned on either side of the headrest and an audio processing module designed to apply at least one audio processing operation. The method includes the steps of: acquiring images of the head of a user of the audio system using an image acquisition device; processing the acquired images in order to determine, within a predetermined three-dimensional spatial reference frame, a spatial position of each ear of the user; and, on the basis of said determined spatial positions of the ears of the user and based on calibration information previously recorded in connection with an audio processing operation, determining calibration information for adapting the audio processing operation to the determined spatial positions of the ears of the user. Also included is an associated audio system for a seat headrest.

  • Patent number: 9637068
Abstract: Component for a motor vehicle and associated motor vehicle. The component according to the invention has a first support layer (20) and a second support layer (22), partially applied on the first layer (20). The second layer (22) includes at least one first region (24A, 24B) applied on the first layer (20) and at least one second region (26A, 26B) positioned across from and separated from the first layer (20), the second region (26A, 26B) together with the first layer (20) delimiting an intermediated space (34A, 34B). The second region (26A, 26B) has a density lower than the density of the first region (24A, 24B). The second layer (22) comprises at least one third region (28A) applied on the first layer (20), the third region (28A) having a density lower than the density of the first region (24A, 24B).

  • Patent number: 8695757
Abstract: The assembly comprises a base spring layer made with a base of a resilient porous material, and the base spring layer being intended to be placed opposite a surface of the automobile. It comprises a stiffening layer arranged above the base spring layer and having a surface density greater than 250 g/m2 and at least one resilient porous upper layer arranged on the stiffening layer. The stiffening layer is made with a base of a dense porous material having a resistance to air flow strictly greater than 2000 N·m?3·s. The assembly advantageously has an upper resistive layer.

  • Patent number: 7789197
Abstract: A soundproofing assembly includes stacked layers in the form of a first set of layers (36) having good resistance to the passage of air, and a second set of layers (24) with mass-spring function including a layer (28) having a heavy viscoelastic mass and a spring type layer (26); the first set of layers includes a layer (36) of a foam with open cells of high porosity, high tortuosity and good resistance to the passage of air, the layer (36) having, owing to its high tortuosity, excellent sonic absorption properties at medium and high frequencies. The invention is useful for soundproofing motor car passenger compartments.
