The communication method comprises a step in which the CPNS enabled entity transmits a request message for instructing performance of a discovery procedure to a first PNE which belongs to a first network if a second PNE which belongs to a second network is not found in the coverage of the first network at the state where the CPNS enabled entity is established as a gateway for managing the first network; a step in which the CPNS enabled entity receives, from the first PNE, a response message; and a step of transmitting, based on the response message, a bridge request message for requesting that the second PNE operates as a bridge for interconnecting the first network and the second network, to a second gateway which manages the second network.

Current is induced from electromagnetic (EM) fields or radio frequency (RF) signals detected near the mobile terminal such that sufficient power can be momentarily and/or temporarily used to access information from a smart card or other components within the mobile terminal, and allow user interaction via the contactless reader.

According to an embodiment, a method includes receiving content translation capability information and function information from each of the CPNS entities; compiling CPNS translator information for the CPNS enabler based on the content translation capability information and the function information; receiving a request to translate a content along with the content from a certain CPNS entity among the CPNS entities; determining whether a CPNS server can translate the content in response to the request based on the CPNS translator information; translating the content if the determining step indicates that the CPNS server can translate the content; and transmitting the translated content to the certain CPNS entity.

Abstract: The present invention provides, in one embodiment, a method for detecting another device performed by a first device having a converged personal network service (CPNS) enabled entity. The method for detecting another device comprises the steps of: performing a procedure for a physical connection with a second device, if the CPNS enabled entity within the first device is set to a personal network entity (PNE) mode; and receiving a search request message from the second device, in order to prevent the duplication of information between the CPNS enabled entity and the second device. Preferably, said search request message can be used to obtain one or more pieces of information, among the mode information of one or more devices detected while the procedure for the physical connection is performed and the information on a network to which one or more said detected devices belong.

According to an embodiment, the invention provides a method including receiving ad-hoc network information and SE information from each of the CPNS entities; designating one of the CPNS entities to be an ad-hoc network controller for an ad-hoc network based on the ad-hoc network information and the SE information; transmitting a command to perform a configuration of the ad-hoc network, information about the designated ad-hoc network controller, and service constraint information, to the designated ad-hoc network controller; and receiving service use information prepared based on the service provided in the ad-hoc network from the designated ad-hoc network controller.
