  • Patent number: 6263971
Abstract: The invention is a system used for production of petroleum effluents situated at great water depths. The system includes an intermediate floating station situated below the surface at a depth selected according to the pressure of the effluent at the outlet of wellheads situated on the station, production risers communicating with the well to be worked, an anchor including production risers, a pump situated on the floating station which transfers the effluent to a processing or destination site, a transfer which transfers the effluent between the floating station, the water bottom and a final platform or a processing plant, and an energy source providing necessary energy to the various equipments installed on the floating station.

  • Patent number: 5390743
Abstract: System for optimizing the development of small oil deposit comprising a main platform, a floating structure including pumping means, the system being positioned close to at least one production wellhead, mechanism for transferring the effluents from said well towards the floating structure and from the floating structure to the main platform. The system comprises a device for taking a sample of a fluid from said effluents and at least one device for injecting said fluid at the level of the wellhead. The method comprises a stage of transfer of the effluents of a deposit towards a floating structure located close to the deposit, taking a sample of fluid from the effluents, reinjecting this sample of fluid at the level of an immersed wellhead and transferring the effluents towards the main platform.

  • Patent number: 5377714
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for transferring a multiphase effluent whatever the value of its gas phase/liquid phase volumetric ratio GLR may be. The value of the GLR is determined by means of a measuring device D, before it reaches a separation tank, when the measured value of the GLR is greater than a boundary value, part of the gas phase is discharged through compression means in connection with the tank, as long as the level of the liquid-gas interface in the tank is below a threshold value.

  • Patent number: 5375618
Abstract: Device for supplying a multiphase fluid comprising at least a liquid phase and a gas phase to a pumping assembly. The device consists of a tank including means for taking samples of the fluid, at least two, extending in the tank so as to run across the liquid-gas interface under normal working conditions, said sampling means comprise sample openings distributed on either side of said interface under normal working conditions, the sampling means being connected to the pumping assembly.

  • Patent number: 5354151
Abstract: System for loading at sea comprising a submersible conveying structure and anchoring device for the conveying structure. The loading system includes a bottom or base structure disposed on a sea bed and a maneuvering arrangement for bringing the conveying structure into a receptacle provided in the bottom or base structure.

  • Patent number: 5348097
Abstract: The invention relates to a device for carrying out measuring and/or servicing operations in a well (4), comprising a tubing (2) adapted for being coiled round a drum (1) and a measuring instrument (3) fastened to the end of the tubing. The tubing comprises inwardly a rod (17) elastic in flexure and resisting to compressive stress, well suited for allowing the introduction thereof into tubing (2), notably by thrust. An energy or information transfer line (12) is incorporated during manufacturing of rod (17).Rod (17) is made of a polymeric material comprising reinforcing fibers and it is centered inside the tubing. The invention further relates to a process for assembling the rod in the tubing and to the use of the device in a well producing an oil effluent.

  • Patent number: 5295546
Abstract: A method of extending the working range of a main platform installation for oil deposits at sea involves:(1) positioning a temporary floating station at a location distance from the main platform installation and near to an oil deposit having small individual production capacity;(2) connecting the floating station with at least one well head of said oil deposit;(3) bringing up multi-component effluents from the at least one well head and pumping the effluents to the main platform installation;(4) when production of the effluents from said deposit ends, removing the floating station; and then(5) repositioning the floating station at at least one other oil deposit located at a distant location from said main platform installation to work the at least one other deposit. Also a facility for carrying out this method as described.
