Abstract: The invention relates to a device for listening to voice and/or musical signals by means of cranial bone transmission, comprising a case (8, 15) having a forward frontal face, which is sealed by a flexible membrane (11), and a rear frontal face (15a), which consists of a rigid, hermetic wall, and comprising a piezoelectric element (1) having suitable dimensions in order for same to be integrated in the case, means (18) for supporting the piezoelectric element which are suitable for joining the periphery of the latter to the case in a solid manner, in such a way as to divide the internal volume of the said case into two hermetic chambers: a forward chamber (6) filled with an incompressible gel or fluid, and a rear chamber (7) comprising damping means (28) suitable for compensating the stresses exerted on the piezoelectric element (1) which result from the forces exerted on the flexible membrane (11).

Abstract: This invention provides a hearing aid of the kind which has a transmitter element and a receiver-transducer element having a vibrating element. The receiver element is suitable for being placed, preferably movably, in the mouth of the user. The receiver element includes a device for supporting and holding the vibrating element. The device for supporting and holding the vibrating element is formed so that when the vibrating element is in place it is in permanent contact either with at least one tooth or with the palate bone, thereby providing sound transmission to the inner ear by bone conduction.

Abstract: This invention relates to a surgical or dental instrument capable of illuminating, washing with liquid, washing with sprayed liquid, drying with air, and aspirating. The instrument incorporates a hollow body comprising means for connecting it to a suction tube, means for fitting thereto a removable cannula, means for supplying fluids which will be conveyed to the end of the cannula, and a supply of electrical current for illuminating a bulb. The hollow body contains a sleeve traversed by an axial bore whose diameter is equal to the inner diameter of the cannula. The sleeve includes, a housing in which is placed a bulb which emits light in the direction of the cannula. The cannula is shaped and positioned for the light generated by the bulb to be conveyed in the sleeve then in the cannula, whose wall performs the role of light conductor. The cannula further includes conduits for conveying fluids. The cannula and the hollow body are shaped so that the cannula may pivot on itself in the hollow body.
