  • Patent number: 11787532
Abstract: A method for assisting piloting beyond an altitude that can be reached with only the capabilities of a thermal power plant of a rotorcraft, by supplying power from an electrical power plant. After defining a take-off point of the rotorcraft and a target point, and their respective altitudes, a determination of a first maximum altitude that can be reached by the rotorcraft using only the thermal power plant is carried out according to a first altitude law. Then, an estimate of a second maximum altitude that can be reached by the rotorcraft using the thermal power plant and the electrical power plant jointly driving each rotor of the rotorcraft is made according to a second altitude law. If the second maximum altitude is higher than the altitude of the target point, the rotorcraft can fly to the target point.

  • Patent number: 10967966
Abstract: A method of fabricating a filler body for a blade of a rotor. In addition, such a method comprises a succession of steps of adding material layer by layer, each step consisting in making a new layer of material on a preceding layer of material made in the preceding step, at least one of the steps consisting in making an openwork layer of material presenting a plurality of openings, the succession of steps of adding material layer by layer generating openwork layers of material, each having a closed outline, the respective closed outlines of the openwork layers of material touching mutually in pairs and forming a closed envelope of the filler body for the blade.

  • Patent number: 10112723
Abstract: A method of stopping a turboshaft engine in flight. During a power reduction step, a current power of the engine for stopping is reduced to reach zero power, and a current speed of rotation of the gas generator of the engine for stopping is reduced to reach a predetermined intermediate speed when the current power becomes zero. During a temperature stabilization step, the current speed of rotation remains equal to the intermediate speed. During a shutdown step, the current speed of rotation is reduced to reach zero speed.
