  • Patent number: 7099418
Abstract: A receiver of a mobile radio terminal in a telecommunication system includes a radio frequency signal generator, a frequency transposer, a high-pass filter which filters a static component and a dynamic component of interference induced by the operation of the radio frequency generator and the frequency transposer, and a digitizer. The high-pass filter has a predetermined cut-off frequency to eliminate the static component and a portion of the dynamic component before the signal enters the digitizer. A residual dynamic component is eliminated by a digital filter placed after the digitizer and a corrector.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: February 6, 2002
Date of Patent: August 29, 2006
Assignee: TCL Communications Technology Holdings Limited
Inventors: Alexandre Da Rocha, Jean-Hugues Perrin, Paul Anandanarayanane
  • Patent number: 6956915
Abstract: A method of correcting frequency errors for use in CDMA mobile radio terminals which is adaptive, depending on the value of the frequency error. There are thus three different frequency error correction processing modes: a processing mode with no correction, an open-loop processing mode for coarse correction, and finally a closed-loop processing mode for very accurate correction. The frequency error processing modes are selected by a central control unit as a function both of the value of the frequency error and of quality factor determined by a quality control unit of a channel coefficient filter.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: November 9, 2001
Date of Patent: October 18, 2005
    Assignee: Alcatel
Inventors: Javier Sanchez, Alexandre Da Rocha, Jean-Hugues Perrin
  • Patent number: 6496494
Abstract: Receiver for enhanced performance for CDMA radio transmission comprising roke receiver with a path searcher (3), a channel estimator (4) and a combiner (5) for selecting optimal paths where the path searcher selects a set of path delays (7) with an instantaneous profile analyzer (8), an averaging filter (9) and a path selector (10) where at least two instantaneous profile analyzers (8) are connected to the averaging filter (9).

  • Patent number: 6430166
Abstract: Receiver for enhanced performance for CDMA radio transmission comprising a Rake receiver (1) with a path searcher (3), a channel estimator (4) and a combiner (5) for selecting optimal channels paths where the path searcher (3) selects a set of path delays (7) where at least two path searchers (3a,3b) are connected in way that the output of the first path searcher (3a) is linked to one input of the second path searcher (3b).

  • Publication number: 20020057753
Abstract: The invention relates to a method of correcting frequency errors for use in CDMA mobile radio terminals which is adaptive, depending on the value of the frequency error. Thus the invention provides three different frequency error correction processing modes: a processing mode with no correction, an open-loop processing mode for coarse correction, and finally a closed-loop processing mode for very accurate correction. Said frequency error processing modes are selected by a central control unit as a function both of the value of the frequency error and of a quality factor determined by a quality control unit of a channel coefficient filter.
