Abstract: A method of combating infectious agents, such as Pneumocystis pneumonia, and a method of treating a subject in need of such treatment is disclosed. The method comprises administering to the subject a bis-benzamidoxime of formula (I) wherein the linker is a di-substituted cyclic moiety of any ring size and may contain at least one heteroatom; the aromatic group is 1,2-; 1,3-; or 1,4-disubstituted; R is selected from the group consisting of a hydrogen, a linear or branched alkyl group, containing from 1 to 20 carbon atoms; R? is selected from the group consisting of a hydrogen, a linear or branched alkyl group containing from one to twenty carbon atoms, an aromatic ring, a cycloalkyl group containing three to eight carbon atoms, or a hydroxyl group; alternatively, R and R? may form a cyclic structure that can be fused to another cyclic system; or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof. Pharmaceutical formulations and active compounds useful in the practice of the present invention are also disclosed.

The execution of the function is adapted to manipulate the object from an earlier state to a manipulated state. The undoing is performed by receiving a request to undo the execution of the function. The earlier state of the manipulated object is obtained. Then, a response is sent to the first client station via the communication network, the response comprising a sum of money less than or equal to an execution cost associated with the function.

Abstract: A system and method for copying and pasting cells in a multi-dimensional spreadsheet. The method is implemented by execution of program code by a processor of a computer system. A source range of cells is copied and pasted in a multi-dimensional spreadsheet onto a destination range of cells in the spreadsheet by performance of a comprehensive paste of the source range of cells onto the destination range of cells. A graphical object in the source range of cells has an associated fastened range of cells, and an associated working range of cells identified by a first relative offset. The copying and pasting results in: the graphical object being within the destination range of cells; and the fastened range of cells and the working range of cells being respectively pasted into an associated fastened range of cells and an associated working range of cells in the destination range of cells.

Abstract: The present invention relates to novel secondary para-phenylenediamines bearing an alkoxy group, to a process for preparing them, and to their use in the oxidation dyeing of hair. The invention also relates to a composition for dyeing keratin fibers, in particular human keratin fibers such as hair, containing, in a medium that is suitable for dyeing, at least one secondary para-phenylenediamine. Further, the invention relates to a process for dyeing keratin fibers using the aforementioned composition, and to a dyeing kit containing the composition.

It is ascertained that a port number of the incoming TCP/IP connection is identical to a predefined port number. A performed process includes determining that the incoming TCP/IP connection is a Net BIOS connection that has created an invalid logon by the attacker device. Event log information, which is associated with the detected incoming TCP/IP connection, is retrieved from the security event log. A generated report is generated and stored in a database of the network. The report includes the extracted TCP/IP information and the retrieved event log information.
