  • Publication number: 20240330489
Abstract: The disclosure offers a solution which allows for providing employees with automatic, instantaneous feedback when they take actions that may be in violation of data governance policies. A method for providing data governance policy feedback to a user includes detecting sensitive data within data assets accessible by an endpoint device, detecting a potentially noncompliant action involving the sensitive data performed by the user at the endpoint device, matching the potentially noncompliant action against a condition defined by a rule from a set of rules implementing the data governance policy, storing information relating to the potentially noncompliant action, the user, and the rule, and applying at least one remediation action from a set of remediation actions defined by the rule, the at least one remediation action including a workflow-disruptive action. A noncompliance level can be determined, such that the disruptiveness level of the remediation action increases as the noncompliance level increases.

  • Patent number: 12013972
Abstract: Systems, methods and non-transitory computer readable media are provided for certifying integrity of data assets stored on a client computing system. The data assets are certified by: calculating a state representation of at least one data asset stored on the client computing system using a data verification module deployed to the client computing system; and transmitting the state representation over a network from the client computing system to a remote computing system for storage in an immutable ledger. Systems, methods and non-transitory computer readable media are also provided for verifying integrity of data asserts.

  • Publication number: 20230306131
Abstract: A system and associated method for tracking the propagation of sensitive data in computing devices. Each device is equipped with a sensor that detects and extracts sensitive data from data assets accessible via the device, hashes the data and associated metadata a first time, and transmits them to a backend server that hashes them a second time and stores them. The system can include a consulting device capable of searching information stored in the backend server and displaying it through an interface that allows the analysis of the propagation of sensitive data within the computing devices of a customer.

  • Publication number: 20230116631
Abstract: Systems for collecting and securely transmitting and displaying sensitive data are described. In a described configuration, the system includes service provider software deployed to a customer endpoint for detecting sensitive data and encrypting the same to produce a cryptogram, at least one service provider server for receiving and storing cryptograms for later access, and a client deployed to a consumption device for requesting cryptograms from the at least one service provider server, transmitting the cryptogram to a customer decryption module for decryption, and for displaying the decrypted sensitive data via the consumption device. Corresponding methods and computer-readable media are also described.
