Abstract: A centrifuge is provided, which includes a chamber with a vessel in which are mounted a drive shaft for rotating a rotating assembly, and a measuring device for measuring the rotation speed of the rotating assembly. The chamber extends vertically between a bottom and an upper portion and includes a cover for opening/closing. The measuring device includes a transmitting portion rotated by the drive shaft and a second portion able to detect a passing frequency of the transmitting portion at a fixed point. The transmitting portion is supported by the rotating assembly and the second portion is mounted on the upper portion.

Abstract: A rotor to be driven in rotation about a central axis of rotation (A) is provided with a number n of seats for receiving a product to be centrifuged, the seats being arranged eccentrically relative to the axis of rotation. The geometric image (I) of at least a first seat, through a geometric rotation about the central axis of rotation (A) in a first direction of rotation and an angle of 360°/n, is different from a second seat which directly follows the first seat in the first direction of rotation.

Abstract: The rotor (3) is of the type intended to be driven in rotation about a central axis of rotation (A) and wherein a number n of seats (81, 82, 101 and 102) for receiving a product to be centrifuged are provided, the seats being arranged eccentrically relative to the axis of rotation. Abstract: This centrifuge comprises a rotor, with at least one housing to hold a product for centrifuging and an associated lid to close the housing, the centrifuge also comprising a motor on which the rotor is mounted to rotate about an axis of rotation. It also comprises a mechanism for checking for the presence, on each housing, of the associated lid in order to prevent the execution of a cycle of centrifugation if the lid of a housing is absent.

Abstract: A device for detecting the unbalance of a rotating machine from a predetermined threshold. This device includes a pendulum formed from a vertical rod made of an elastically deformable metal, the upper end of which is embedded in an insulating support fixed rigidly to the housing of the rotating machine and which at its lower end carries a metallic mass, the mass being received concentrically, with a predetermined peripheral play, within a metal rink likewise fixed to the housing and insulated electrically from the housing, the ring and the embedded end of the pendulum being connected electrically to an electrical alarm or safety circuit which closes as soon as the mass comes in contact with the ring, where the resonance frequency of the pendulum is below that of the parts of the rotating machine which is subjected to the unbalanced condition.
