Abstract: A universal joint system having an annulus, two forks each having pivots journalled in bearings engaged in housings in the annulus, with elastic elements for filtering or damping radial or axial vibrations between two rotating shafts, those elements covering the pivots and being arranged for deflection by shoulder portions of the joint members, the elastic elements comprising a ring coaxial with an external ring of the bearing and having at least one radial and one axial abutment.
