  • Publication number: 20160083912
Abstract: The invention concerns a rail crossing device designed for crossing a first rail embedded in a road surface with a guide rail, embedded in the road surface. It comprises at least one extensible portion provided in the guide rail and at least one mechanism designed for lengthwise extension and contraction of the extensible portion. This mechanism is designed to extend and contract the extensible portion in a lengthwise direction, defining a contracted position in which one end of the guide rail is separated from the first rail to allow a vehicle or any other movable device to travel along this rail, and an extended position in which said end of the guide rail is moved towards the first rail in order to guide a vehicle onto the guide rail.

  • Publication number: 20140331887
Abstract: The anti-extraction safety system incorporates, on each side, one side component which does not rotate with the corresponding roller, that incorporates at least one inclined flap articulated to pivot between a lowered position wherein its lower part extends under the rail head, and a raised position in which its lower part is laterally distanced from the rail. The pivot axis of the flap is inclined upwards and is located in the rear part of the flap, above the lower part in the lowered position. This flap is subjected to a downward return force which maintains it in the lowered position, but which allows it to pivot to the raised position when an upward force greater than the return force, is applied on its lower part.

  • Patent number: 8511931
Abstract: A junction between successive flat pre-fabricated elements which comprises an elastic transverse insert (9), an approaching mechanism (10) in the form of tie beams (23) and tensioning mechanisms (19). The flat pre-fabricated elements (2) to be assembled each have a transverse channel (3) adapted so as to receive the insert along the end transverse edges (4, 5) thereof, which must face each other after assembly on the ground, and conduits (7) of the tie beams. Each pre-fabricated element is successively arranged, one after the other, and the transverse insert is introduced into the transverse housing (6) formed by transverse channels facing each other. The tie beams are introduced into the conduits, the ends thereof projecting outside the pre-fabricated elements. The tie beams are then tensioned by a tensioning mechanism, at each of the ends thereof, in order to immobilize the flat pre-fabricated elements and thereby connected by the tie beams.
