  • Patent number: 4608822
Abstract: The invention concerns a system for controlling the flaps of a turbine engine nozzle. High-pressure air P4 is bled from the compressor of the turbine engine to feed a compressed-air engine. The shaft of the engine rotates a constant-capacity displacement pump which sends hydraulic liquid into a jack controlling the flap or flaps of the nozzle. The invention is applicable to the control of all movable flaps of turbine engine nozzles.

  • Patent number: 4435957
Abstract: A device to regulate the flow of a fuel supply system for a gas turbine engine, said system being of the type comprising a volumetric pump, a flow regulator element in the outlet of the pump and a return circuit for the fuel connecting the outlet of the pump upstream from the regulator element with the inlet of the pump. The device includes a second flow regulator element in the fuel return circuit and an arrangement of elements to control the passage cross section of the regulator element so that the pressure drop of the liquid fuel at the passage of the first regulator element remains proportional to the discharge pressure of a suitably chosen stage of the air compressor of the engine.

  • Patent number: 4245468
Abstract: A volumetric pump, rotating at a velocity proportional to that of the ture engine, supplies fuel to a combustion chamber through two throttles mounted in cascade, the downstream throttle having a variable passage section; a control valve sensitive to the pressure drop across the two throttles controls a fuel bypass flow taken from between the two throttles, to maintain said pressure drop at a constant value.
