  • Patent number: 11937658
Abstract: A sports helmet has: a shell; a face protector; and a face mask disposed on an inner side of the face protector, the face mask having a body overlapping a nose and a mouth and defining a volume between the face and the body, the body defining a top edge for engaging the face and a bottom edge opposed to the top edge and disposed proximate a chin, the bottom edge secured to a lower portion of the face protector at a location spaced apart from the face to define a gap therebetween, and lateral straps secured to one or both of the face protector and the shell for biasing the top edge against the face of the wearer, the body made of a material offering a flow resistance such that an exhalation flow from the wearer is deviated towards the gap and away from the face protector.

  • Patent number: 9242870
Abstract: A method of forming a gypsum based product is disclosed. The method comprises the steps of: calcining a mixture of water and gypsum under conditions of raised temperature and pressure within a vessel to produce an alpha-hemihydrate slurry therein; passing the alpha-hemihydrate slurry from the vessel to a mixer for mixing with additional water to produce a settable slurry, which is arranged to set to form the gypsum based product.

  • Patent number: 5535253
Abstract: The method and the device are applicable to the penetrations (2) of a pressurised water nuclear reactor vessel head (1) during operation. The device includes a double circuit for picking off two gas samples (100, 16, 17; 12, 13, 14, 15) and a measurement assembly (18) which regularly compares the content, especially of water vapour, in the two samples picked off. The first sample is taken from the volume of a chamber (7) where the possible leak (10) emerges, and the second in proximity to the head (1) outside the region immediately affected by the leak. The assembly (18) makes it possible to generate (19) an alarm in the event of a leak and to distinguish it from operational alarms.Techniques and means are also provided for determining the flow rate of sweeping in the volume of the chamber (7) and for checking the pick-off and detection systems.
