    Abstract: The cover comprises a panel, a skirt (6) and a margin (7) that extend mutually one from the other and that are designed respectively to cover the top of the cushion, at least a major fraction of its flanks (3b), and a corresponding marginal band around its bottom (3c), at least the major fraction of the length of the free edge of the margin (7) being pleated and tensioned by being sewn (at 14) in a prefolded state to a non-stretch cord that extends without folds along said edge.
