    Abstract: A disposable non-porous protective wrap for use with a sphygmomanometer. When a person's blood pressure is taken, the protective wrap is applied to a limb of the person. Then, the sphygmomanometer cuff is applied over the protective wrap. The protective wrap insulates both the person and the sphygmomanometer from being exposed to diseases, germs and any other contaminants which may have been transferred onto the sphygmomanometer from other persons and does not interfere with the blood pressure reading.
