  • Patent number: 10377681
Abstract: The present invention describes a control system for units for the production of 1-butene by the oligomerization of ethylene in the presence of a homogeneous catalyst, in the liquid phase and at the bubble point, which uses a multivariable predictive controller and provides the units with better stability.

  • Publication number: 20100204831
Abstract: This invention describes a new process for monitoring and regulation of an industrial unit that comprises a closed-loop identification phase for the parameters of a model of said industrial unit, implemented in a multi-variable, predictive linear monitor, whereby said identification phase is implemented in a closed loop, which makes it possible to minimize the substandard production of said unit.

  • Patent number: 7373258
Abstract: This invention describes a method for determining the content of conjugated diolefins by means of the measurement of the MAV of a sample of catalytic cracking gasoline or thermal cracking gasoline, from its NIR (near-infrared) spectrum, and the application of said method for monitoring a unit for selective hydrogenation of the cracking gasolines.
    Type: Grant

  • Patent number: 4795340
Abstract: Single-leaf valve for a gas-fired boiler. It is of the type that comprises a combustion chamber (1), a seat (10) for a valve leaf (9), and a single valve leaf (9) for the two constituents, this single valve leaf (9) being flexible and deformable, and being pressed flat against the valve leaf seat (10) when the boiler is not operating, the said seat (10) having two or more grooves (13, 14 (sic), 19), the first of these grooves being an anti-stick groove (19) which serves to prevent the said leaf (9) from sticking to the said seat (10), and the second of these grooves (13, 14 (sic)) communicating with means whereby at least one of the constituents of the mixture is supplied. Application, in particular, to gas-fired boilers of the pulsed-combustion type.

  • Patent number: 4634371
Abstract: An intermediary chamber associated to a device for feeding a pulsatory combustion chamber with fuel and comburent includes a heat tube l65 defining with the inner channel wall 125 a recirculation zone for the burnt gases issuing from the combustion chamber. The intermediary channel located between the combustion chamber for pulsatory combustion of a mixture of fuel and a combustive agent and an injection chamber includes the heat tube being directly communicated with the combustion chamber, wherein an internal wall of the intermediary channel and an outer surface of the heat tube define a recirculation zone for the recirculaton of burn gases issuing from the combustion chamber, the recirculation zone being at least partially open at an upper end thereof.
