  • Patent number: 8535018
Abstract: Liquid from a body of liquid is pumped using two liquid columns connected to a sealable conduit containing gas. The liquid columns are also connected to another conduit having a switched valve. Pumping is initiated by extracting gas from the sealed conduit. Liquid exits one of the liquid columns through the switched valve. Lowering of the liquid level in one of the liquid columns moves gas in the sealed conduit. This in turn induces pumping liquid from the body of liquid in another one of the liquid columns. When the liquid level reaches a minimum in the liquid column, the switched valve changes position, blocking a liquid flow from the liquid column and allowing liquid in the other of the liquid column to exit.

  • Patent number: 8128017
Abstract: A winding machine including a frame. The frame includes at least one spindle configured to support at least one cake, the spindle being movable in rotation about a first axis substantially perpendicular to the diameter of the cake, and at least one positioning and guidance device configured to position and guide at least one thread on the rotating spindle. The spindle is mounted so as to be movable linearly along the first axis of rotation.

  • Patent number: 7866590
Abstract: A winder including a frame including at least one spindle configured to support at least one cake, the spindle able to rotate about a first axis approximately perpendicular to the diameter of the cake, and at least one crosswinding device configured to deposit at least one strand on the spindle with a first traversing movement. The strand is further deposited on the spindle by a follower with a second traversing movement. The follower includes a control device for controlling the second traversing movement.

  • Publication number: 20100096488
Abstract: The invention concerns a winding frame (1) comprising a chassis (2), said chassis including at least one spindle (6, 7) adapted to support at least one spinning cake (13), said spindle (6, 7) being rotatable about a first axis substantially perpendicular to the diameter of the spinning cake, and at least one traversing device (8) adapted to deposit at least one yarn on the spindle (6, 7) in a first reciprocating movement (C1), the yarn being further deposited on the spindle (6, 7) by a monitoring member in a second reciprocating movement (C2). The invention is characterized in that the monitoring member comprises a device for monitoring the second reciprocating movement.
