  • Publication number: 20120097379
Abstract: The invention relates to a collector plate (10) for a heat exchanger comprising a web (12) equipped with openings for the passage of tubes of the heat exchanger and a groove (14), known as a receiving groove, to accept a header tank cover, able to accept a gasket (104) and part of the cover and having a base (18) and two flanges, respectively an inner flange (16) and an outer flange (20) which are connected to the base (18). The inner flange (16) is connected to the web (12) and is subdivided into at least two disjointed portions, the two disjointed portions are separated by at least one recess (30), and the recess (30) between the two disjointed portions of the inner flange (16) is at least in the region of a site of the collector plate (10) that is intended to accept a bent part of the gasket (104). The invention also relates to a heat exchanger comprising the collector plate (10).

  • Patent number: 8136579
Abstract: The invention relates to a heat exchanger which is intended, for example, for a motor vehicle and which comprises a tube bundle (2) and spacers which are positioned between the tubes of the bundle in order to promote the exchange of heat. The bundle is defined by two end spacers (70, 71). The inventive exchanger also comprises two collector plates through which the ends of the bundle are intended to pass and at least one flange (50, 51) which is disposed on one or the end spacers. Advantageously, the flange comprises at least one expansion zone (80) in order to compensate for the longitudinal expansions thereof, while the transverse section of the flange in the expansion zone is essentially U shaped.

  • Patent number: 7905277
Abstract: The invention relates to a heat exchange fin, particularly for cooling, consisting of a strip (30) comprising a first heat-exchange zone (18), intended to collaborate with tubes of a first heat exchanger, and a second heat-exchange zone (20), intended to collaborate with tubes of a second heat exchanger. According to the invention, said strip comprises a zone of weakness (22) able to allow it to be parted into a first element (64) comprising said first heat-exchange zone (18) and a second element (66) comprising said second heat-exchange zone (20). The invention also relates to a heat-exchange module comprising such a fin and to a method of producing such a module.

  • Publication number: 20110030935
Abstract: The present invention relates to an exchanger comprising at least two circuits, this exchanger comprising: a series of tubes for the circulation of fluid of one or other of the two circuits, at least two collector rings, each connected to the opposite ends of the tubes, said tubes opening respectively into said collector rings, a partition provided in each of said collector rings defining at least one separation in order to isolate the first circuit from the second circuit of fluid, a mechanical connection means connecting the structure of the inlet chamber to the collection chamber is designed to reduce significantly the structural mechanical stresses existing in the separation between the two circuits, characterized in that the mechanical means consists in a total or partial closing off of at least one tube situated next to the partitions.
