  • Patent number: 10322713
Abstract: A method controls a hybrid transmission for a motor vehicle that can operate according to at least two kinematic modes involving various connections of at least one internal combustion engine, at least one electric motor, and at least two drive wheels. The method includes controlling the transition between kinematic modes in accordance with the current kinematic mode during the start of the transition and a kinematic mode setting, if it is determined that the current kinematic mode is not equal to the kinematic mode of the transition and that the kinematic mode setting is not equal to the final kinematic mode, making a decision regarding the suitability of a transition interruption, during a change of request of the driver during which it is determined whether an interruption of the action is underway, and then continuing the transition or undertaking a new transition according to the result.

  • Patent number: 10144432
Abstract: Method for controlling the claw coupling of two gearbox elements initially rotating at different speeds when the driver or the box computer requests claw coupling, characterized in that, in a first phase, the difference in rotational speed of the rotary elements is brought by a regulator to a non-zero reference value without any translational movement of the rotary elements toward one another, and in that the movement of the rotary elements until they are claw-coupled occurs in a second phase that begins when the difference in rotational speed reaches its desired value, during which phase the difference perceived by the regulator is modulated by a factor (F) that is a function of the raw difference between the measured value and the reference value.

  • Patent number: 10086828
Abstract: A method controls the startup of a heat engine of a hybrid power train of a vehicle. The power train includes the heat engine and an electric drive machine, two concentric main shafts coupled one to the heat engine and one to the electric machine, at least one step-down gear of each of the main shafts on a secondary shaft connected to wheels of the vehicle, and a coupling of the two main shafts. The method includes coupling the two main shafts, inhibiting fuel injection of the heat engine, launching the heat engine by the electric machine, synchronizing a speed of the heat engine and a speed of the electric machine without fuel injection, activating the fuel injection and turning off the electric machine and decoupling the two main shafts.

  • Patent number: 9829095
Abstract: A method for controlling the stationary clutching of an idler gear on a secondary shaft of a parallel shaft gearbox, by movement of a sliding gear constrained to rotate with said shaft towards the idler gear without the intervention of mechanical synchronization members, characterized in that it involves:—activating the translational movement of the sliding gear towards the idler gear without previous synchronization, if the two parts are unable to rotate when clutching is requested, and—activating a rotation of the idler gear following the free flight travel of the sliding gear to position the teeth of one in place of the holes of the other, if the clutch engagement threshold has not been crossed following a time delay.

Abstract: A method controls a hybrid transmission for a motor vehicle that can operate according to at least two kinematic modes involving various connections of at least one heat engine, at least one electric motor and at least two drive wheels, The method includes controlling the transition between kinematic nodes in accordance with the current kinematic mode during the start of the transition and a kinematic mode setting, if it is determined that the current kinematic mode is not equal to the kinematic mode of the transition and that the kinematic mode setting is not equal to the final kinematic mode, making a decision regarding the suitability of a transition interruption, during a change of request of the driver during which it is determined whether an interruption of the action is underway, and then continuing the transition or undertaking a new transition according to the result.

  • Patent number: 9428068
Abstract: A method for controlling recharging of a traction battery on a motor vehicle hybrid transmission including a heat engine and at least one electrical machine, wherein the electrical machine is used as a sole motor-driven power source up to a speed threshold beyond which it is possible to couple the heat engine with the wheels, in hybrid modes, to run power supplies from the heat engine and the electrical machine simultaneously with each other. In the method, below the speed threshold, the electrical machine ensures only torque to be transmitted to the wheels, while the heat engine is ignited to provide recharging without contributing to pull of the vehicle when a driver bears on the accelerator pedal, and while the wheels are separate from the heat engine and the electrical machine, when the driver does not bear on the accelerator pedal, to enable recharging of the battery.
