Abstract: The invention relates to an obturating stopper plug as well as to a method of manufacture of this stopper plug.The stopper plug for obturating any opening (2) and comprising a bead of heat-fusible adhesive (7) deposited upon the said stopper plug is characterized in that the bead of heat-fusible adhesive (7) comprises:(a) an adhesive mixture,(b) a cross-linking agent,(c) an expansion agent decomposing at a temperature close to the cross-linking temperature of the adhesive mixture (a),(d) additives for working purposes.The invention is applicable to the obturation, for example, of an opening in a plate to be passed into a drying oven for paint.
