  • Patent number: 7954862
Abstract: Electromagnetic lock includes a body, a retractable sliding bolt, and a movable plate structured and arranged to move the retractable sliding bolt and functioning as an armature of an electromagnet housed in the body. The movable plate is movable via two forces acting in the same direction and is structured and arranged to move the retractable sliding bolt to a protruding position. This Abstract is not intended to define the invention disclosed in the specification, nor intended to limit the scope of the invention in any way.

  • Patent number: 6880868
Abstract: The invention concerns an electromagnetic lock comprising two parts, one of which comprises an electromagnet and the other a mobile armature capable of moving to counter the return springs when the electromagnet is energized. One of the parts has at least one protuberance extending from one edge of the corresponding part to the proximity of the other edge, the protuberance sized and positioned to be capable of penetrating into a housing of the other part when the parts coincide and the electromagnet is energized, the height of the protuberance being less than the distance normally separating the two parts when the electromagnet is not energized. This abstract is neither intended to define the invention disclosed in this specification nor intended to limit the scope of the invention in any way.

  • Publication number: 20030057715
Abstract: The invention concerns an electromagnetic lock comprising two parts (1 and 2), one of consists of an electromagnet and the other comprising a mobile armature (3) capable of moving to counter the return springs when the electromagnet is energized. The invention is characterized in that one of the parts has at least one protuberance (6), extending from one edge (7) of the corresponding part to the proximity of the other edge (8), capable of penetrating into a housing (9) of the other part when said parts coincide and the electromagnet is energized, the height of said protuberance being less than the distance normally separating the two parts when the electromagnet is not energized.
