  • Patent number: 11512024
Abstract: A method for densifying porous annular substrates by chemical vapor infiltration, includes providing a plurality of unit modules including a support tray on which substrates are stacked, the support tray including a gas intake opening extended by an injection tube disposed in an internal volume formed by the central passages of the stacked substrates, the injection tube including gas injection orifices opening into the internal volume, forming stacks of unit modules in the enclosure of a densification furnace and injecting, into the stacks of unit modules, a gas phase including a gas precursor of a matrix material to be deposited within the porosity of the substrates.

  • Patent number: 7566221
Abstract: A pipe for feeding a gas into an oven, a furnaces, or the like (such as a CVI/CVD oven), and in particular into a reaction chamber structure inside the oven, is provided with a gastight tubular sealing device extending radially outward of the pipe and defining a path that is practically gastight, through which there extends the feed pipe. The tubular sealing device is preferably at least partially flexible in the transverse direction and/or the axial direction so as to accommodate positioning defects between a location situated in the reaction chamber and a location where the gas feed pipe penetrates the oven (which defects may be due, for example, to asymmetrical thermal expansion/contraction).
    Type: Grant
    Filed: February 13, 2007
Date of Patent: July 28, 2009
    Assignee: Messier-Bugatti

  • Publication number: 20040235049
Abstract: The invention concerns a device for presentation of peptides or of proteins, which can be used as a “polypeptide chip” for the miniaturised detection of molecules structurally or functionally complementary to the said polypeptides. This device consists of a flat support onto which the polypeptides are covalently bonded, this bonding between the polypeptides and the support resulting from the formation of a semicarbazone bond. The semicarbazone bond results in particular from the reaction between polypeptides bearing an aldehyde or ketone function and a support functionalised with semicarbazide groups. The invention also concerns the process for preparation of the supports and for attaching polypeptides onto these supports and also the use of the devices thus obtained as polypeptide chips.

  • Patent number: 6318511
Abstract: The friction device comprises a non-rotary casing (50) in the form of a cage in which there are received a thrust structure (30), a set of friction disks (21, 22, 23, 24, 25) on a common axis, and a backing structure (40), the casing having a peripheral wall provided with ventilation openings (54). The friction device is actuated by a pneumatic actuator (60) mechanically connected to the central portion of the thrust structure through a central opening in an end wall (51) of the casing. Thermal insulation is arranged between the set of disks (21, 22, 23, 24, 25) and the outside of the casing adjacent to the end wall provided with the bearing unit (11) for the rotary shaft (10), and comprises at least one heat barrier (76-77, 78-79) situated at the bearing unit (11).
