  • Publication number: 20180375672
Abstract: The disclosure includes an electronic system that receives data and power from an Ethernet cable and splits the data and the power. The system can include a housing and an input port coupled to the housing. The input port can be arranged and configured to receive the Ethernet cable that transmits the data and the power. The system can also include a splitter circuit located along an internal portion of the housing. The splitter circuit can be arranged and configured to receive the data and the power from the Ethernet cable and thereby split the data from the power. The splitter circuit can include at least one capacitor arranged and configured to block power; and an electrical component having an impedance arranged and configured to block data.

  • Patent number: 8746721
Abstract: A steering mechanism may include a four-bar linkage having a ground link, a coupler link, and a pair of follower links. The ground link may be connected to a vehicle having a wheel defining a wheel centerline. The coupler link may be connected to the wheel and may be located aft of the ground link. The pair of follower links may pivotally connect the ground link to the coupler link. The follower links may extend aftwardly from the ground link at converging angles and may define a steering axis located aft of the wheel centerline.

  • Patent number: 7887077
Abstract: A steering mechanism for a wheel of a vehicle defining a wheel centerline comprises a four-bar linkage. The four-bar linkage includes a ground link, a coupler link and a spaced pair of follower links. The ground link is connected to the vehicle. The coupler link is connected to the wheel and is located aft of the ground link. The follower links pivotally interconnect the ground link to the coupler link. Each of the follower links defines a link axis. The follower links extend aftwardly from the ground link at diverging angles such that the link axes intersect one another at a steering axis which is positioned forward of the wheel centerline. The steering mechanism may be fitted to a motorcycle having front and rear wheels wherein the four-bar linkage is housed within a wheel hub of the front wheel.

  • Publication number: 20100077564
Abstract: A hinge apparatus to facilitate equipment position adjustment is disclosed. One embodiment of a system includes, a hinge apparatus having a through-hole, a rotate-able portion and a body portion. The system further includes, equipment having a first portion coupled to the rotate-able portion of the hinge apparatus, a second portion coupled to the body portion of the hinge apparatus, and an electrical wire that facilitates function of the equipment. The electrical wire is disposed in the hinge extending through the through-hole. The hinge apparatus is operatively configured such that the electrical wire remains intact during when the rotate-able portion of the hinge rotates.

  • Patent number: 7419284
Abstract: A passing lamp assembly for a motorcycle. A mount arm extends between opposite end portions and is mounted below the headlight of a motorcycle. A spherical element having a through-hole passing therethrough is formed at the mount arm end portions. Passing lamps are pivotally mounted above the spherical elements by stems attached to the lamps and passing through the spherical elements. Spherical washers are mounted around the stem between the passing lamp and the spherical element, and between the underside of the spherical element and a fastener. First and second turn signals are mounted below the spherical elements by turn signal mounts and are not pivotally movable relative to the mount arm. The turn signal mounts conceal mounting hardware for the passing lamp.
