  • Publication number: 20220277030
Abstract: Content of different formats may be sourced from various data sources such as content servers and ingested into a data integration server by an ingestion broker embodied on a non-transitory computer readable medium. The ingestion broker may normalize the content of different formats into a uniform representation that can be indexed and delivered across multiple digital channels for a variety of applications. The normalized content may be analyzed and semantic metadata may be determined from the normalized content. The normalized content can be semantically enriched by associating the semantic metadata and the like with the content. The semantic metadata can be stored in a semantic index that can be used for searching via the data integration server. During search, the semantic metadata can be instantiated as facets for user navigation and refinement of search criteria and additional semantic relationships can be assigned to the words in the normalized content.

  • Publication number: 20220274204
Abstract: Method for creating an iridescent visual effect on the surface of a part, using a laser beam having a pulse duration of less than a nanosecond sent onto said surface in the optical field of the focusing system of a device comprising also a laser source and a scanner, to apply wavelets having the same orientation to said surface over the pulse width. The scanner scans the surface using laser radiation along a series of consecutive lines, or a matrix of points using relative movement of said surface and the device, the width of each line or the dimension of each point of each matrix being equal to the pulse diameter. Between the carrying out of the scanning along two consecutive lines or two adjacent points the polarization of the laser beam is modified to create wavelets having different orientations on two consecutive lines or two adjacent points.

  • Publication number: 20220271451
Abstract: A base element for an at least two-part overvoltage protective arrangement, has a support rail receptacle for receiving a support rail carrying an electrical potential, a first receptacle for receiving a first electrical conductor, a second receptacle for receiving a second electrical conductor, and a protective element receptacle for receiving an overvoltage protective element. An electrical connecting element for transmitting an electrical signal from the first receptacle to the second receptacle is produced between the first second receptacles. An electrical support rail contact element makes electrical contact with the support rail when the support rail is received by the support rail receptacle. • Patent number: 11422088
Abstract: There is provided a design of a device consisting of a patterned semiconductor material to provide enhanced detection bandwidth and efficiency of terahertz (THz) pulses with an electro-optic sampling. One device has a semiconductor crystal having a patterned grating on a surface of the semiconductor. In a system, there could optionally be a quarter-wave plate after the semiconductor crystal, followed by a prism. A pair of balanced photodiodes can optionally be provided after the prism. A pulse laser having a NIR beam and THz beam is sent through the semiconductor crystal to the quarter-wave plate to the prism to the photodiodes, wherein the patterned grating on the semiconductor crystal diffracts the NIR beam while the THz remains unaffected. The photodiodes can detect the result.

  • Publication number: 20220248085
Abstract: Systems and methods are described herein for efficiently “catching-up” a user that is interested in a media asset when that user has missed a portion of the media asset while consuming the media asset together with other people. The system may detect that multiple people are consuming a media asset and may determine, based on a respective profile of each person, whether that person is interested in the media asset. When the system detects that the user is disregarding the media asset, the missed portion of the media asset is stored if the user is interested in the media asset, and is not stored if the user is not interested in the media asset.
