  • Patent number: 6120142
Abstract: The present invention relates to a printer with a single printing motor and a single non-contact heating element characterized in that it includes a printing width and a paper path width greater than that of a double web width between 18.5" (46.99 cm) and 20.5" (52.07 cm), and selective control of the writing heads. The writing heads are controlled either in order to use them in a single group to print a centered double-width web, or to use them in two groups of heads to concomitantly print two single-width webs separated by a margin. Both groups of heads or each group of heads can be supplied with one color of ink.

  • Patent number: 4153041
Abstract: A device for collecting solar energy and conveying it to a zone to be heated. It comprises a tube in two parts, the first part (evaporator) being surrounded by a vacuum and being covered with a heat absorbing material and exposed to the solar radiation. The tube contains a fluid which vaporized in the first part and absorbs heat and condenses in the second part and gives up the previously-stored heat. The fluid in the liquid phase is returned to the first part by a capillary system.

  • Patent number: 3943530
Abstract: The invention relates to a tracing apparatus operating automatically on the basis of digital imputs.A buffer-loop is formed in the paper band between each drive roll and the control drum, and the loops so formed are balanced by a loop corrector/reader device. In one prior art apparatus, this device includes photoelectric cells. The tracing apparatus is characterized in that it includes three suction chambers, one for each buffer-loop and a third central chamber beneath the control drum, whereby two saggings of the paper are obtained on either side of the control drum that are entirely independent of the two buffer-loops.
