Abstract: A method and an apparatus for impregnating one side of a porous board, such as gypsum boards, with a precise amount of compatible phase change material. A predetermined amount of the phase change material is applied at a predetermined uniform rate to the one surface of the board so that a predetermined amount of the phase change is impregnated. The rate of application is lower than the absorption rate of phase change material. Also, the temperature of the board must be above the melting point of the phase change material during the impregnation. The process and apparatus may be either a continuous, a semi-continuous or a batch operation, and the resulting product is intended as a building construction material.

The tongues fold down along a drop line in a plane above the heads of the metatarsals and the malleoli, and are located between two planes secant to the plane of the boot sole and passing through the heads of these bones. Actuation of the tongues relative to the foot takes place from outside the boot.

Abstract: A ski boot having a flexion zone and a bottom portion which is adapted to hold a boot therein. The boot includes a holding device for producing a force for holding the foot at the bottom of the boot. The boot also includes a distribution device for distributing the force over the foot. The distribution device includes at least two flexible and elastic overlapping portions. These overlapping portions extend over the flexion zone of the boot and the foot, as does the holding device. In one embodiment the overlapping portions are petal-shaped so as to better conform to the shape of the flexion zone of the foot. As a result of this structure, the distribution device can be adapted to conform to all morphologies of the foot.
