  • Patent number: 6739080
Abstract: A label for a skein of yarn includes a main portion of generally quadrilateral shape for encircling the skein. A projection is integrally formed with the main portion and extends outwardly from a side of the main portion and is bent to pass through the ends of a loop of yarn formed inwardly of one end of the skein thereby keeping the loop opened. An enlarged tab is integrally formed at an outward end of the projection and is turned downward against the main portion to secure the tab in position through the ends of the loop so that the label resists slipping along the length of the skein.

  • Patent number: 6527213
Abstract: A skein support bow includes an elongated solid main section made of flexible material and has a length approximately equal to the length of a skein to be mounted thereon. Double hook members are located at each end of the elongated main section for engaging a corresponding loop end of the skein. An excrescence is integrally appending from the main section and forms a label hanger for receiving a label after the label is removed from the skein thereby making information on the label available after the skein is mounted to the bow.

  • Publication number: 20010028928
Abstract: Label intended to go around a skein of yarns or the like, which comprises a projecting part extended by a tab which can be folded down inside a loop of the said skein so as to neatly separate of the said yarns by creating the said loop in a permanent way, and to limit any relative slip of the label with respect to the said skein

  • Publication number: 20010028009
Abstract: Skein support bow having a length approximately identical to that of the skein, having the shape of a strip made of flexible material and including two ends, wherein each of said ends terminates in a double hook for housing a loop of the said skein, the said strip including an excrescence, in its central part, of dimensions such that it can take a label on which a reference of the said skein is indicated.
