Abstract: The present invention concerns a plaster composition for manufacturing of a fire resistant plasterboard, said composition comprising hydratable calcium sulphate, water with a water/hydratable calcium sulphate ratio between 0.50 and 1.00 and the following components: ?0.5-10 wt. % of SiO2 particles having a particle size distribution d50>10 ?m; ?2.5-10 wt. % of CaCO3; ?0.2-2.5 wt. % of polysiloxane wherein the wt. % are expressed relative to the weight of the hydratable calcium sulphate.

Abstract: An element is directed to the dry construction of lightweight walls, especially the construction of load-bearing lightweight façades or non-load-bearing lightweight façades, which do not contribute to the stability of the building. The element includes a panel based on a hydraulic binding agent and all or part of the face is coated with a polymer film obtained by polymerization under the action of radiation. The element also includes a structure, and a jointing component resistant to air transfers and thermal and hydric transfers. The element does not comprise any membranes that are resistant to air transfers and thermal and hydric transfers.

Abstract: The invention provides a method for preparing a gypsum composition containing a cross-linked polymer comprising the following steps: preparing a slurry of the gypsum composition by mixing the various constituents of the composition, or precursors thereof, with water, in a mixer; hydraulic setting; and drying and cross-linking in the presence of heat. The invention applies to the manufacture of gypsum boards. The invention further provides a composition of gypsum containing a cross-linked polymer, and further comprising a water resisting additive in an amount such that the water uptake is below 10%.
