Abstract: An interface manager device interconnects peripheral devices to a network of ACD type or of AISD type of an aircraft, and includes: a first data interface for connecting it to the network; a first electrical power supply interface for connecting it to a general electrical power source; second data interfaces and second electrical power supply interfaces, for connecting it to the peripheral devices, which are deactivated by default. The interface manager device is configurable via a configuration interface so as to selectively authorize connections between the second data interfaces and the first data interface, and to selectively authorize connections between the second electrical power supply interfaces which are associated with them and the first electrical power supply interface, and to activate the second interfaces concerned. The interface manager device propagates a received data packet when said data packet relate to an authorized connection and deletes said data packet otherwise.

Abstract: A system, device and method for recording data in an aircraft including a memory and a network interface through which it is connected to the network. This device is configured for acquiring information from the avionics communication network, and information relative to characteristic events relative to operation of the aircraft, generating indexes corresponding to different times, recording, in a first part of the memory, indexed data corresponding to the information coming from avionics communication network, the indexed data including a set of recordings, each recording corresponding to the combination of information coming from the avionics communication network and an index corresponding to a time associated with that recording; and recording, in a second part of the memory, for several of the characteristic events, information of correspondence between the characteristic event in question and an index corresponding to a time associated with that characteristic event.

Abstract: A support platform for accommodating a portable electronic device in an aircraft is configured to be fixed in the aircraft. It comprises an airtight closure arrangement configured to occupy at least an open position, in which the portable electronic device can be inserted in or removed from the support platform, and a closed position, in which the portable electronic device can be used by a user in the aircraft when the portable electronic device is inserted into the support platform.

The method reads a removable medium, including the application to be run, by a removable-medium reader with which an on-board running system in the vehicle is equipped, and runs the application by a running mechanism with which the running system is equipped and connected to the removable-medium reader. The running of the application requires permanent recording of data necessary for execution thereof only on the removable medium. As an example, a portable application is used or the running system is booted from an installed operating system provided on the removable medium.

The system comprises a KVM switch over IP linked to said server. The terminal is adapted to connect to said switch by means of a TCP/IP connection and hosts a client application. Symmetrically, the switch hosts a server application, said applications being suitable for implementing a protocol for remotely accessing a video frame buffer. Each video frame is transmitted from the server application to the client application in the form of bitmap image data, uncompressed or else compressed by a lossless compression algorithm.
