  • Patent number: 9920769
Abstract: A gas turbine casing made of organic matrix composite material includes reinforcement densified by an organic matrix defines an inside volume. On its inside face the casing has a structural part with a first face facing the inside face of the casing, and an opposite second face defining a flow passage portion. Recesses opening out into the inside volume of the casing are present between the inside face of the casing and the first face of the structural part facing the inside face of the casing. In the event of a fire, the recesses allow gas coming from degradation of the resin of the casing to be discharged into the flow passage.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: December 17, 2014
Date of Patent: March 20, 2018
    Assignee: SNECMA

  • Patent number: 8408864
Abstract: A device for regulating the flow rate of air feeding a turbine ventilation cavity of a turbomachine turbine section is disclosed. The device includes at least one tubular duct opening into a take-off cavity and leading into a turbine ventilation cavity, the pressure inside the take-off cavity being higher than the pressure inside the turbine ventilation cavity; an air flow rate regulation valve disposed in the tubular duct, the valve being suitable for moving under the effect of the pressure difference between the take-off cavity and the turbine ventilation cavity; and a mechanical return device for holding the valve in a maximum closure position for the duct so long as the pressure difference between the take-off cavity and the turbine ventilation cavity remains below a predetermined threshold pressure.

  • Patent number: 7841187
Abstract: A turbomachine comprising a diffuser—distributor assembly comprising a downstream end-piece connected at its downstream end to means for injecting air for ventilating a turbine and delimiting with the impeller of a centrifugal compressor an annular cavity for the circulation of ventilation air taken from the outlet of the compressor, this turbomachine comprising means for taking air from the injection means and means for guiding this air to the radially internal portion of the downstream face of the impeller.

  • Patent number: 7258524
Abstract: A device applied to regulating the flow rate of air flowing in a rotary shaft of a turbomachine, the shaft including at least one through orifice for passing air. The device at least one shutter member for shutting the orifice and secured to a deformable blade presenting bi-linear behavior, the blade being secured to the shaft and being suitable for deforming under the effect of the centrifugal force that results from the shaft rotating such that the shutter member is suitable for taking up two different positions depending on the speed of rotation of the shaft: one position in which it shuts the orifice; and another position in which it releases the orifice to allow air to pass through.
