Abstract: The invention relates to a linear actuator comprising: —an outer tubular body having a helical rolling track; —an internal tubular body with an engine rotatable around a shaft that is coaxial to the tubular bodies; —at least one nut having at least one helical rolling path and a reflow area mounted on said shaft; —and ball bearings placed between a rolling path of at least one nut and a rolling track of the outer tubular body, as well as in the reflow area of such a nut. Said actuator is characterized in that it comprises at least one means for bearing against a rolling track of the outer tubular body along at least one line of contact, and at least one means for controlling said bearing means.
