  • Patent number: 5157918
Abstract: A compensating device for the temperature in front of the high pressure turbine of a compound turboshaft aero-engine which is regulated to a designated constant temperature behind the low pressure turbine is provided with a function generator which supplies a correction value signal for the designated temperature as a function of the rotational speed of the low pressure turbine and of the actual temperature at the outlet of the said turbine. The device is activated as soon as the rotational speed of the high pressure turbine goes below 80% of its maximum rated speed and is operative to apply the correction value signal to the designated temperature for a predetermined time as soon as the rotational speed of the high pressure turbine goes above 90% of its maximum rated speed while the device is activated.

  • Patent number: 4928483
Abstract: The present invention provides an air tapping device for tapping a portion of the air passing through the bypass duct of a fan-type turbojet engine. The device is incorporated into the engine mount and is provided with an anti-vibration mounting to minimize the transmission of engine vibrations to the air tapping device. The device is preferably incorporated into the rear engine mount which attaches the engine to the aircraft structure.

  • Patent number: 4286473
Abstract: The position of a mechanism is regulated by means of a cam moved by a motor o actuate a contact connected with the mechanism. The device includes an arrangement to reset the cam to a predetermined position in case of a failure of the motor. A mobile cam stop is provided and the arrangement to reset the cam in the direction of the mobile cam stop also includes mechanism to reset the mobile stop in the direction of the cam and arrest the stop.

  • Patent number: 4162064
Abstract: A device permitting converting a rectilinear motion into a linear force and ice-versa consists of a helical spring having a retainer to hold the last two loops at each end relatively stationary. The immobilization is achieved either by wedges inserted between the last two loops at each end or by cups shaped so as to receive the ends of the spring. The invention is applicable in regulatory systems.
