The cathode-ray tube comprises a bulb having one end closed by a transparent plate bearing an cathodoluminescent screen. In one characteristic, the transparent plate is greater than the bulb and comprises a peripheral part that extends beyond the bulb so as to constitute a reference marker of the position of the cathodoluminescent screen.
