  • Patent number: 4297744
Abstract: The invention relates to a process for multiplying a stochastic value at the most equal to 0.5, by a number 1+K, with 0<K.ltoreq.1, which stochastic value is physically represented by a sequence of logic 0 and 1 levels, such that in a certain interval of time, N logic 1 levels appear, according to which process, a first auxiliary sequence is formed from said sequence, comprising KN logic 1 levels, then a second auxiliary sequence comprising N logic 1 levels, each logic 1 level of each of the two auxiliary sequences being on the one hand deducted from a logic 1 level of the initial sequence and on the other hand temporally opposite a zero level of the other auxiliary sequence, after which said auxiliary sequences are added to each other. The invention is more particularly applicable to the stochastic processing of information.

  • Patent number: 4245341
Abstract: The present invention relates to a device for transmitting stochastically coded information, comprising a digital multiplexer and demultiplexer connected by a series transmission line and each controlled by addressing means, the addressing means of the multiplexer and the addressing means of the demultiplexer themselves being controlled by a common random noise generator of probability equal to 0.5.

  • Patent number: 4200935
Abstract: The invention relates to a process and device for simultaneously obtaining a plurality of stochastically coded constants, wherein a passive memory is programmed so that the number of logic 1 states of the bits, which belong to the same column of said memory and which correspond to different stored words, divided by the number of said columns, is equal to one of said constants, said memory is addressed by means of a random noise of probability equal to 0.5 and the random sequences of bits are taken from the memory column by column. The invention is applicable to the stochastic processing of information.

  • Patent number: 4176399
Abstract: The present invention relates to a binary random noise generator for the stochastic coding of digital or analog information, comprising a comparator having two inputs, one of which receives a reference voltage and the other a random analog noise coming from a source of noise, said comparator supplying at its output a binary signal with random transitions, said generator comprising a clock and a logic system which, on the one hand, effect the sampling of the binary signal with random transitions in synchonism with the frequency of said clock and, on the other hand, ensure the strict equiprobality of the two logic states of said binary signal with random transitions, without increasing the radius of correlation. The invention is more particularly applied to the stochastic coding of information with a view to calculation or transmission, with equidistribution of binary variable.

  • Patent number: 4169249
Abstract: The present invention relates to a device for producing an analog noise from a point process, the distribution of said noise being predeterminable, said device comprising a source of noise, a first generator or random pulse generator, a second generator or motif or function generator, the output of the source of noise being connected to the input of the first generator, the output of the first generator being connected to the input of the second generator, and the output of the second generator constituting the output of the whole of said device. The invention is applicable to the coding and transmission of information.

  • Patent number: 4079906
Abstract: In a servocontrol device for controlling a control surface of an aircraft, which device is associated with a mechanical control member such as control column, wheel, pedals, and which comprises two identical double-acting hydraulic rams, integral with each other and each controlled by means of a slide valve, the slide valves each being controlled by a servovalve, whilst each servovalve is controlled by an electrical chain associated therewith, emitting an electrical control signal taking into account the displacements of said control member, the chains are connected to each other by crossed connections and they comprise apparatus for delivering equal signals to said servovalves. The invention is directed to the control of the control surfaces of an aircraft.
