Abstract: An indicator lamp for a motor vehicle is delimited at least on one side by a partition (22) running along the lamp over a substantial depth and comprises a light source (10), a flux concentrator and/or recuperator element (211), glazing (30), and an auxiliary reflecting area (212) able to direct, towards the glazing in the vicinity of the partition (22), an auxiliary luminous flux the average direction (x′-x′) of which is substantially inclined with respect to the principal axis of emission (x-x). The auxiliary reflecting area comprises a segment of axisymmetric paraboloid focused in the vicinity of the source, and the axis of which is oriented along the said average direction.

Abstract: The invention relates to an installation for signalling the deceleration of a motor vehicle. It comprises a signal lamp having an illuminating area divided into luminous sections, each equipped with its own light source, and means for controlling the lighting of a number of light sources which increases with the deceleration of the vehicle. The luminous intensity of the illuminating area remains substantially constant whatever the number of lighting sections lit. This constant intensity can be obtained by supplying the light sources with substantially constant power. The means for controlling the lighting of the light sources comprise a deceleration sensor and connection means which selectively link the light sources to an electrical-energy source as a function of an output signal from the sensor.

Abstract: In an assembly of at least one headlight and an indicator light for a motor vehicle, the headlight includes a lamp which is mounted in a reflector, and the indicator light, which is situated adjacent to the headlight, includes a lamp and reflective means for flux recuperation. The headlight and the indicator light also have adjacent lenses. The reflective means comprise a first reflector cooperating with the lamp of the indicator light, and a second reflector, the lamp and the first reflector of the indicator light being disposed behind the reflector of the headlight, and the second reflector of the indicator light is disposed in line with the lens of the indicator light.
