  • Patent number: 4967591
Abstract: The gas flow regulator apparatus of the invention comprises a tube made of ductile metal which is crushed over a short portion of its length so that the inside wall of said tube makes contact with itself, and the tube is mounted in connection means for providing sealing around the tube and for mounting it in any equipment for measuring gaseous adsorbtion and desorbtion, in such a manner that the tube ensures that the equipment is continuously fed with gas at a very low flow rate lying in the range 0.025 mm.sup.3 /sec to 25 mm.sup.3 /sec at sonic velocity and regardless of any varying back pressure.
