Abstract: A crank-handle is divulged for fishing lines including a radial arm connected both to the main rotational shaft journalled in the reel body and to an axial handle mounted for rotation on the arm. The handle comprises a rigid body covered by an interchangeable elastomer sleeve. The radial arm comprises an internal axial portion penetrating inside the handle and having a cross-section greater than or equal to the cross-section of the external axial arm portion.

Abstract: A fishing reel is provided with a device for setting the braking force, comprising a mobile support having, on its external face, setting signs visible through a window of the case. The support is driven in movement by the reel brake setting knob, the support and its mechanical connection with the setting knob being such that to each angular position of the setting knob there corresponds unequivocally a single setting sign visible through the window.

Abstract: A removable spool for a fishing rod reel is provided comprising a front face having a slightly proeminent and smoothly rounded convex shape forming a smooth surface free of roughnesses on which the line cannot catch. This front face is formed by a resilient membrane integral with a push button for disengaging the spool from its support shaft.

Abstract: A fixed spool fishing reel which comprises a rotatable drum with at least one support member mounted thereon spaced from the outer periphery of the drum, a fixed spool for holding line and having a skirt which surrounds the drum, and a pick-up arm pivotally mounted on the support member for movement between an open and a closed position. A release device is provided for moving the pick-up arm from the open to the closed position when the drum is rotated. The release device is cooperable with a stationary stop behind the spool and comprises a double lever constituted by a shaft transverse to the rotational axis of the drum, the shaft having first and second arms. The first arm is cooperable with the stationary stop and the second arm is pivotally connected to one end of a connecting rod, the other end of which is pivotally associated with the pick-up arm.

Abstract: A fishing reel which has a control device for operating an audible warning device. The control device comprises an operating member located externally of the reel and rotatably mounted thereon by means of an extension of the operating member. The operating member co-operates by means of a profiled extension thereof with an elongate resilient member which can co-operate with the audible warning device. The elongate resilient member is supported within the reel by a part of the member fitted freely and parallel to the axis of said extension on a support on the inner side of the wall. The profiled extension of the operating member is integral with the extension to the operating member and has a terminal radial flange which extends over at least a portion of the periphery of the profiled part. The flange is in facing relationship with a first part of the resilient member, which first part is shaped to co-operate with the radial flange.
