  • Publication number: 20230016346
Abstract: A battery system includes a battery receiving device and a plurality of battery units. Each battery unit can be coupled bidirectionally and inductively to one another and/or to the receiving device for charging/discharging. The receiving device can be connected to an external electrical energy source and/or sink. Each battery unit includes a coil unit. The receiving device has a storage seat for each battery unit removable with a magnetically complementary connectable coil unit for inserting/removing a battery unit without tools. The coil unit has a single coil which is substantially shaped as an elliptical, elongated flat coil, arranged in a half-shell housing and embedded in a ferrite core half-shell of ferrite elements, with a coil unit ratio of thickness to length/width of at least 1:5. The coil unit of the battery unit and receiving device are formed mechanically separable with a maximum distance between the coil units of 110 mm.

  • Publication number: 20210091436
Abstract: A battery system includes a battery accommodating device and one or more battery units. The battery units can be inductively coupled to one another and/or to the battery accommodating device for charging and discharging. The battery accommodating device can be connected to an external electrical energy source and/or energy sink. The battery unit includes a coil unit and the battery accommodating device includes for each battery unit that can be accommodated in a storage seat with a coil unit, which can be coupled in a magnetically complementary manner, for toolless insertion and removal of a battery unit.

  • Patent number: 10343534
Abstract: An arrangement for inductively transmitting energy for charging an energy storage device of a rail vehicle. A first induction element transfers energy to a second induction element. An inverter with an adjustable AC voltage frequency provides an AC voltage to the first induction element. A controller controls the AC voltage frequency of the inverter. A measuring device ascertains a power output value during the wireless energy transmission and transmits the value to the controller and the controller adjusts AC voltage frequency of the inverter downward from an upper threshold until a pre-specified power output value is set while energy is being transmitted. The first induction element is paired with a track for rail traffic. The system and a method are also described for inductively transmitting energy for charging an energy storage device of a rail vehicle.

  • Patent number: 7911307
Abstract: The invention relates to a variable transformer comprising at least one primary winding and at least one secondary winding which can be rotated in relation thereto. The primary winding and the secondary winding are subdivided into at least two winding sections. The winding sections interlock in a comb-like manner and the flow of current of directly opposite winding sections is directed in the respective opposite direction.

  • Patent number: 6937130
Abstract: A magnetic field production system is proposed and has a two-dimensional winding configuration with two windings. The windings are disposed essentially orthogonally with respect to one another and enclose a machine or system. The windings have winding axes that are essentially at right angles to one another, and which are supplied with alternating variables via two feed circuits. In order to produce a two-dimensional, rotating magnetic field, the two alternating variables are at the same frequency, have similar current amplitudes and similar voltage amplitudes, and are synchronized to one another. A phase shift of preferably 90° is set between the alternating variable of the first feed circuit and the alternating variable of the second feed circuit. Furthermore, a three-dimensional magnetic field, as well as an configuration for wire-free supply of a large number of sensors and/or actuators using a magnetic field production system are possible.
