Abstract: The present invention relates to packaging of a container having a neck and a body. The neck has a rim and a membrane sealed around its periphery. The rim includes at least one zone to allow sufficient grasp of the membrane for easy removal of the membrane from the rim during opening of the packaging.

Abstract: A security ring device to determine whether a container has been opened is integrated with a container and its cover. The security ring device has a rim which abuts the depending edge of the skirt of a container cover. The interior of the skirt has a portion which is provided with a perimeter groove. At least two lugs extend from the rim to the groove to lock the ring to the skirt. At least one lug extends from the rim to the container which has an outwardly extending flange portion positioned so that upon turning the cover to open the container, the at least one lug which extends from the rim to the container and establishes a tension for breaking the ring member. A collar may extend from the rim and abut the outer wall of the skirt. At least one weakened zone may be positioned in the rim ring to facilitate breaking.

Abstract: A tamper-evident device for application to a container closure cap has a ring element which surrounds an insert panel element. The insert panel element, which is centrally disposed with respect to the ring element, has an edge displaced from and surrounded by an edge of the ring element and is connected to the ring element by at least two lugs. The ring element of the device is bonded to an outer surface of a container closure cap which has a centrally positioned portion which is elastically deformable under the effects of changes in pressure so that when positioned on a rigid container which has an interior under a partial vacuum and upon opening and pressurization of the container, the deformable membrane lifts the insert panel element to break lugs connecting the ring and insert elements.

Abstract: The invention relates to a resealable pack consisting of an outer, relatively rigid envelope and a flexible, gusseted inner bag attached to the envelope, in which the outer envelope comprises at least one flap which, when turned down to seal the pack, folds and squeezes the two faces of the open end of the bag. The two lateral walls of the outer envelope have no moveable parts.
