  • Patent number: 8785805
Abstract: A covering for a containment pool, tank or enclosure, in particular a containment enclosure for a nuclear power plant, is produced by placing metal sheets parallel to a first wall at a predetermined distance from the latter, each sheet comprising anchoring elements, on a first face arranged facing the first wall, placing a rail situated between the anchoring elements and comprising side walls and a base delineating a space facing the area to be welded with two adjacent sheets, making a weld bead by full-penetration butt welding of the adjacent metal sheets, and pouring concrete between said first wall and the metal sheets, the anchoring elements of the metal sheets being completely independent from the weld bead after the concrete has been poured.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: April 30, 2008
Date of Patent: July 22, 2014

  • Publication number: 20020148833
Abstract: Metal packaging including a container (1) sealed by a lid (2), a safety cap (5) sitting atop the lid, characterized in that this packaging is equipped with means (4, 6) for locking the safety cap onto the container. To this end, the cap (5) is provided with flexible peripheral tabs (6) designed to be able to clip onto an end flange (4) formed on the opening of the container (1) and curved outwards. Fastening the safety cap directly onto the wall of the container (1) in this way appreciably improves the firmness of the closure and therefore the safety against accidental opening of the packaging.

  • Patent number: 6003385
Abstract: The invention relates to ultrasound apparatus for measuring the flow speed of a fluid, the apparatus comprising first and second ultrasound transducers disposed at points that are spaced apart in the direction of fluid flow, a transmitter module, a receiver module, and switch means organized so that each of the first and second transducers operates alternately as a transmitter and as a receiver. The transmitter module includes at least one transmission signal generator whose output is permanently connected via two logic gates each followed by a respective resistive divider bridge to a respective first terminal of the first and second transducer, and in that the first and second switch means are interposed respectively between the first terminals of said first and second transducers and the receiver module.

  • Patent number: 5028865
Abstract: The device of the invention comprises a main optical sensor (3) suitable for measuring a changing physical parameter, and a secondary optical sensor (6) suitable for measuring a disturbance which influences the measurement of said physical parameter, but for which the frequency spectrum is disjoint from that of the parameter. The sensors (3) and (6) are connected in series such that the main sensor serves to modulate the beam received by the secondary sensor.
