  • Patent number: 11946568
Abstract: A non-return insert valve (100) for a fluid circuit, in particular of a vehicle, this valve (100) being configured to be inserted into a pipe (12) and comprising: a tubular body (102), a ring (104) comprising guides (140), a piston (106) configured to slidingly cooperate with said guides (140) and carrying a seal (146), and an elastically deformable member (108) for biasing said seal (146) in axial support against a seat (124) of the tubular body (102), said piston (106) comprising at its external periphery lugs (166) which are configured to be supported axially against an internal cylindrical shoulder (126) of said body (102), in order to precisely define a first position of the piston, the fluid being intended to flow between these lugs (166) when the piston (106) is in a second position.

  • Publication number: 20150151677
Abstract: A gauge assembly includes a gauge surface forming a gauge surface curve and a pointer assembly. The pointer assembly includes a pointer having a curved portion that corresponds with the gauge surface curve. The pointer has one or more light reflecting surfaces. The pointer is configured to rotate about an axis of rotation relative to the gauge surface. The light reflecting surface(s) is disposed along the axis of rotation of the pointer, and the light reflecting surface(s) is configured to reflect light through the pointer and against side walls of the pointer.

  • Patent number: 7607808
Abstract: A light distributing assembly for a vehicle instrument panel includes a light source that emits light in a first direction. A first surface that is transverse to the first direction receives the light and changes the direction of the light to a second direction. A vehicle instrument panel housing having a second surface receives the light from the first surface and reflects a portion of the reflected light toward a vehicle display surface to illuminate the vehicle display surface.

  • Patent number: 4482581
Abstract: The present invention relates to a process for producing a capacitive hygrometer, as well as to a hygrometer obtained by this process.Onto a conductive layer forming the first electrode is deposited a layer of a material with a dielectric constant varying as a function of the quantity of water absorbed. Onto the said dielectric material layer is then deposited a layer with a thickness exceeding 200 .ANG. of a slightly oxidizable metal, which forms the second electrode. The latter is made permeable to water by heat treatment at a temperature close to the softening temperature of the dielectric.Application to the measurement of the relative humidity of air.

  • Patent number: 4156887
Abstract: The invention relates to a heat-sensitive capacitor comprising a layer of dielectric material inserted between two metal electrodes.According to the invention the dielectric material is made up of molecules of an organic compound comprising at least one aliphatic chain of at least 6 carbon atoms and at lest one heterocyclic group comprising a nitrogen atom, at least some of the molecules being bonded to anions, the organic compound also having a reversible phase transition at a given temperature. The invention also comprises a method of manufacturing such a capacitor whereby the organic compound is deposited on a metal substrate to form a thin layer having a desired thickness, a metal coating being then formed on the deposited layer and the resulting assembly being heat-treated at a temperature above the phase transition temperature of the compound.
