  • Publication number: 20230159256
Abstract: A natural fiber-based insulating panel system to facilitate shipping. One or more natural fiber-based panels are inserted into the interior of a shipping container to encapsulate the payload, or on the exterior of the shipping container to encapsulate the shipping container and payload. A film or membrane may encapsulate one or more of the insulating panels. Micro perforations may be present in the membrane to facilitate the capture of moisture from the interior.

  • Patent number: 10442615
Abstract: Embodiments pertain to a method and apparatus for protecting temperature sensitive products during air, ground, or sea transportation. Embodiments relate to a chamber built inside a trailer or sea container where temperature sensitive products are placed to have additional protection against the environmental conditions encountered during the transportation and distribution periods. The dimensions and modularity of the chamber can vary depending on the trailer or sea container the chamber is designed to be used with. This chamber can be preassembled and inserted into the desired trailer or sea container or can be assembled inside the trailer or sea container. The chamber system can include insulated and or non-insulated walls, conveyor system, ventilation system, temperature and asset (trailer or sea container) location tracking.

  • Patent number: 7886868
Abstract: A self-draining grill and system incorporating the same. The grill includes a plurality of ribs extending from a surface of a housing and angled downward in a direction across the surface of the housing. One or more openings are disposed between the ribs and allow air flow to a sound generation device.

  • Patent number: 7131769
Abstract: A stretcher with a dedicated multi-functional removable floating patient support platform is described. The stretcher has a lower frame assembly and an upper frame assembly is vertically displaceable thereover in an adjustable manner. The patient support platform is a rigid rectangular platform having a substantial portion thereof constructed of radiolucent material. The patient support platform is supported on bearings and retained captive on a platform support structure, whereby to slide axially thereof. Restraining hingeable side frames are provided and permit the patient support platform to be displaced laterally on the bearings to permit the patient support platform to be transferred from the platform support structure laterally thereof, in an effortless support manner.

  • Patent number: 6094474
Abstract: The device is used for compensating a hyper transparency area due to air inside or outside an organ while using a gantry mounting radiography apparatus with digital subtraction (DSA). The device comprises compensating filters and a supporting assembly for connecting the filters in front of the X-ray source. Each filter extends in a filter plane while the organ defines a median plane in which the rotation axis of the arms of the apparatus is substantially lying. The supporting assembly is designed to keep the filter in front of the X-ray source and in registry with the X-ray source and the hyper transparency area while keeping the filter plane parallel to the reference plane during rotation of the arms. Unlike existing X-ray compensating devices which are stationary, the present invention automatically sets itself for radiography of different views in function of the rotation of the arms of the apparatus.
