  • Publication number: 20240083590
Abstract: A propulsion assembly including a propulsion system, electric motors and a transmission system that is configured to couple the electric motors to the propulsion system, at least one of the electric motors including an output shaft located at a face facing away from the transmission system. Additionally, the propulsion assembly includes at least one coupling shaft connecting the output shaft of the electric motor to the transmission system, a first coupling system, which is able to switch over to the uncoupled state in the event of an incident at the electric motor and is configured to rotationally couple the first end of the coupling shaft to the output shaft of the electric motor, and a second coupling system, which is configured to rotationally couple the second end of the coupling shaft to the transmission system.

  • Publication number: 20220411084
Abstract: A propulsion unit, and an aircraft, with a propeller and electric motor, including at least one intermediate element interposed between the electric motor and the propeller and configured to transmit at least thrust loads generated by the propeller, a primary structure supporting the propulsion unit, at least one interface having: a first load path, configured to transmit loads perpendicular to the axis of rotation of the propeller, linking the at least one intermediate element to a support linked rigidly to or incorporated in the primary structure, a second load path, configured to transmit loads that are parallel to the axis of rotation of the propeller, linking the at least one intermediate element to a support linked rigidly to or incorporated in the primary structure.

  • Publication number: 20210229826
Abstract: The present invention relates to an aircraft provided with a rotary airfoil, a power plant and an assistance system having an electric motor. The power plant comprises a power transmission box and at least one heat engine. The aircraft includes at least one accessory which is set in motion by a secondary output shaft of the power transmission box. The assistance system is provided with a mechanical connection module having a connection shaft which is connected to the secondary output shaft. A first connection member is connected to said at least one accessory and is connected by a first mechanical link internal to the connection shaft, a second connection member being connected to the electric motor and connected by a second mechanical link internal to the connection shaft.

  • Patent number: 10737777
Abstract: An upper casing with a hollow shell made of composite materials. The shell was a side wall that extends in elevation from a housing flange to a housing collar, the side wall including at least one cutout. The upper casing includes an internal liner that is inserted inside the shell and that is fastened to an inside face of the shell, the liner comprising a base and a top, together with at least two legs extending in elevation from the base to the top, the liner further comprising at least one equipment support in register with a cutout, each equipment support being for carrying a removable piece of equipment of the upper casing.

  • Patent number: 10415692
Abstract: An emergency lubrication device of simplified architecture for a mechanical system. The emergency lubrication device has a tank, trigger means, at least one pipe, and at least one distribution means. The tank contains a lubrication liquid and it is arranged inside the mechanical system and above the pipes and the distribution means. Each distribution means includes at least one constriction means for limiting the flow rate of the lubrication liquid. The lubrication liquid is heated by the mechanical system, and the viscosity of the lubrication liquid decreases so that the flow rate of the lubrication liquid through each distribution means is substantially equal to or greater than a minimum flow rate so long as the tank contains the lubrication liquid.
