  • Publication number: 20180165386
Abstract: In some embodiments, a cloud-based services architecture may receive operating data from a set of enterprise system devices. The cloud-based services architecture may include a tenant-specific space and an orchestration run-time execution service to manage creation and execution of a first and a second custom analytic model in the tenant-specific space. Moreover, the first analytic model may be customized to run as a service having: (i) some of the received operational data as an input, and (ii) a result of a first analytics process as an output. The second analytic model may be customized to run as a service having: (i) the output of the first analytic model as an input, and (ii) a result of a second analytics process as an output. According to some embodiments, the input of the second analytic model is received from the first analytic model without leaving the tenant-specific space.

  • Publication number: 20070110318
Abstract: Image objects within two-dimensional images are identified by locating boundary points that describe line segments that define a polygon outlining each object. Processing follows lines of pixels between boundary points to determine whether additional pixels are a part of the same image object by reference to a discriminator, such as color. Boundary points are thus identified for contiguous pixels and contiguous lines. Arm-like regions are identified by recursive analysis in a similar manner. The resulting boundary point list may serve to identify the image object, such as for labeling or tagging in web-based manuals, catalogs, and so forth.

  • Publication number: 20070070073
Abstract: A method for generating an automated exploded view of an assembly of parts is presented. The method includes determining at least one sequence of viable directions of motion of at least one moving part in the assembly of parts. Computer-readable medium and systems that afford functionality of the type defined by this method are also contemplated in conjunction with the present technique.

  • Publication number: 20050171661
Abstract: A diagnosis and repair recommendation system for a railroad locomotive is disclosed. The system uses generalized repair recommendations and instantiates them to a specific repair process for a unique road number locomotive. In addition to repair steps to be executed by the technician, the method and system remotely provides supporting documentation specifically tailored for each step in the repair process. As the repair is being conducted, feedback information is entered by the technician. The repair recommendations and the supporting documents are available to the technician via a remote unit, thereby allowing the technician to access the repair steps and supporting documentation while the repair is in progress.
