  • Publication number: 20080159803
Abstract: A writing instrument having a central body and writing tips made of pastel material, the writing instrument being characterized in that it has at least three protuberant tips, each of which is formed of a pastel material of a color different from the colors of two of the other of the protuberant tips, the protuberant tips extending along different axes, each from a base integral with or secured to the central body to a vertex forming a writing tip for writing in the corresponding color, the protuberant tips being formed integrally with the central body, and the pastel materials being of the same chemical nature.

  • Publication number: 20070231048
Abstract: The invention relates to a writing instrument, comprising a body (2), a lateral button (7) with a first cam (11) and a forwarding mechanism, having a movable member (20) with a first inclined plane (23). The lateral button (7) remains in a release position, in which the first cam faces the first inclined plane and can perform a first tilting movement, during which the first cam cooperates with the first inclined plane. Said button (7) comprises a second cam (12) which is longitudinally displaced from the first cam and the movable member has a bearing (25) which is adjacent to the second inclined plane (26). The second cam (12) is supported on the bearing during the first tilting movement and faces the second ramp at the end of said movement. The button can then perform a second tilting movement, during which the second cam cooperates with the second inclined plane.

  • Publication number: 20070172299
Abstract: A mechanical pencil that includes a body extending longitudinally along an axis X between a forward writing end and a rear end, and an endpiece situated at the forward end and a lead guide that can be retracted into the endpiece that includes a conduit for the passage of a lead. The mechanical pencil also includes a lead brake made of an elastically deformable material connected to the lead guide.

  • Publication number: 20070134046
Abstract: A mechanical pencil that includes a body extending between a rear end and a front end, and a lead-advancing mechanism that includes a movable member having a bearing surface; a chuck connected to the movable member; a clamping ring cooperating with the head of the chuck; and an elastic element having a rear end bearing against the bearing surface. The elastic element stresses the ring against the head when the advancing mechanism is in the rest position. A movable bush is arranged between the clamping ring and the front end of the elastic element. The chuck is movable with respect to the movable member over a defined stroke. The body has a stop to limit the forward displacement of the bush.

  • Patent number: 6802354
Abstract: A hand-held device for applying correction tape on an application surface having at most only a supply spool for a stock of the correction tape. An applicator element, which can be a roller, applies the correction tape in its entirety on the application surface. No backing tape or the like is rewound back into the casing. Therefore, a second take-up spool can be omitted. In the vicinity of the application element a cut-off/separating element is provided for cutting off or separating the applied correction tape from the rest of the correction tape when lifting the device off an application surface.

  • Patent number: 6732781
Abstract: A hand-held device for transferring a film of, for example, an adhesive, a covering, or colored material, from a supply tape onto a substrate. The device has a base body, in which the supply and an application member are provided, and a cover for the application member. The cover is movable between a covering position, covering the application member, and a release position, exposing the application member. The cover is pivotably attached to the base body and to maintain the overall compactness of the device, the cover substantially follows the circular outline defined by the outer contour of the base body with minimal clearance gap between the cover and the base body.

  • Patent number: 6729788
Abstract: A hand-held dispenser for applying a flowable correction medium on a substrate surface. The correction medium is provided in a reservoir of the dispenser and in fluid communication with an application member at least during operation of the dispenser, when the dispenser is pressed against a substrate surface, such that the correction medium can flow from the reservoir to the application member. The application member is configured and dimensioned such that an application width of the application member can be selected by adjusting the dimensions of a contact region of the application member and the substrate surface. This can be particularly done by adjusting the force and/or the direction by which the application member is pressed against the substrate surface.

  • Patent number: 6601632
Abstract: The invention relates to a manual device for transferring a film consisting for example of adhesive, covering or coloured material from a backing strip to a substrate, with a housing in which a supply reel and a take-up reel for the backing strip are mounted so that they can rotate via a pivot bearing, which is formed by two coaxially arranged bearing components, engaging in each other like sleeves in the region of an annular or hollow cylindrical bearing joint, of which one bearing component is held on the housing so that it cannot rotate and the other bearing component is a part of the relevant reel support and in the course of which a return stop is provided for both reels with a locking pawl which meshes with a gear ring. To guarantee a compact design and economical fabrication, the locking pawl is arranged on the one bearing component against a spring force so that it yields elastically and the gear ring is arranged on the other bearing component.
