    Abstract: The invention concerns a method for improving the uniformity of a liquid curtain which includes the specification of, prior to the coating of the composition under the coating conditions, forming a curtain with flow rate and viscosity conditions (1, 2) which are such that the rear face of the lip is wet over a height greater than the height over which the composition would naturally wet the rear face under the coating conditions. Then, maintaining these flow rate and viscosity conditions over a given period of time.
