Abstract: A manhole rehabilitation system where in one example an existing cross-pipe is exposed and a manhole base and riser are cast around and above the existing cross pipe to form a manhole. In one example an FRP base liner and FRP riser liner are placed before casting in place. In one example casting is made of an aggregate. In one example, a collar and manhole cap rest upon the casting, and are supported thereby such that the liner need not be structural. In one example an existing pipe or manhole forms the outer surface of the casting. In one example shoring is placed and used as the outer surface of the casting.

Abstract: An aggregate panel system comprising in one example: a rigid first panel having: a first side comprising a fluid impermeable, non-porous outer layer; a second side facing a first base wall to which the first panel is attached. Also disclosed is at least one optional panel brace fixed to the second side of the first panel and extending toward the base wall, the panel brace configured to increase rigidity of the first panel. An aggregate fill (e.g. concrete) is then poured or otherwise disposed between the first panel and the first base wall to fill the region therebetween. The aggregate fill configured to harden to a solid aggregate fill and thus structurally support both the base wall and the rigid panel.

Abstract: An apparatus and an associated method of installing a manhole assembly upon a pipe is disclosed herein. One example of the method comprises the steps of: exposing a joining section of the pipe; cutting a pipe access hole in the joining section. One prepared, a saddle may be positioned adjacent the perimeter surface of the hole such that the seal is positioned between the saddle and the joining section. The saddle in one example having a surface defining a saddle access hole there through, the saddle access hole substantially aligned with the pipe access hole during installation. The method may include the step of encapsulating these structures with a grouting material such as concrete or an equivalent. The method may include the step of providing a riser having a bottom surface resting upon the support surface of the spigot and a radially inward surface engaging the alignment surface.
