Abstract: A group key management method for secure multicast communication includes: creating a tree having a root node, internal nodes and leaf nodes to manage group keys of a receiver group by a group key management server; generating user keys of all nodes excluding the root node in the tree on the basis of Chinese Remainder Theorem; assigning the leaf nodes of the tree to users of the receiver group; and sending the user keys of the leaf nodes to the corresponding users for group key management. Further, the group key management method for secure multicast communication includes generating group keys of all non-leaf nodes; computing a solution of congruence equations based on the user key and group key by using Chinese Remainder Theorem for each non-leaf node; and multicasting a group key update message to each user of the respective leaf nodes.

Abstract: A DRM technique interoperability system includes an exporter and an importer. The exporter cancels the DRM technique from the contents to which the DRM technique of a DRM device is applied to generate a contents stream, generates a plurality of packets from the contents stream, and transmits the packets to the importer. The importer receives a plurality of packets from the exporter, generates a contents stream from the plurality of packets, applies a DRM technique of a second DRM device to the contents stream, and provides it to the second DRM device.

Abstract: Provided are an apparatus and method for processing motion picture and a record medium, which decompose a motion picture into unit frames and insert copyright information into the unit frames, enabling to determine the infringement of copyright when the motion picture is illegally circulated. The apparatus includes a processing unit, a merging unit and an output unit. The processing unit decomposes a motion picture into a plurality of unit frames, and generates a main frame, a sub-frame including copyright information for the motion picture and a degree frame which is paired with the sub-frame, based on the unit frames. The merging unit merges the sub-frame into the main frame according to a degree of mergence of the degree frame. The output unit continuously outputs the merged frames in time order.

Abstract: An apparatus for protecting contents streamed through re-transmission, includes a content service site for servicing a content, managing end user and re-sender re-transmitting the content streamed from the content service site to another user, and issuing and managing a re-transmission license and a content license. The end user pays a charge to the content service site, receives an issued license from the content service site, and uses the content received from the re-sender through re-transmission.

Abstract: An apparatus for digital home domain management includes a home domain server which manages in one user domain all user terminals within a home group and provides each user terminal with a domain license in contents; and a DRM coupler which provides the contents and domain licenses converted to conform to a DRM type loaded in user terminals if contents sharing is requested among user terminals loaded with different DRMs within the home group.

Abstract: An apparatus for sharing content between devices by using a domain digital rights management (DRM) includes: a domain management unit for performing management of a domain within a specific area and registration of users and user devices; a user management unit for managing information about the users of the domain registered by the domain management unit; and a device management unit for managing domain clients of the domain registered by the domain management unit. The apparatus further includes a DRM management unit that has DRM information that supports the domain created through the domain management unit and update information about each DRM, and relays such that DRM content stored in each domain client is converted into domain DRM content and domain DRM license.

Abstract: In a method of manufacturing a semiconductor device, a tunnel insulation layer is formed on a substrate. A charge trapping layer is formed on the tunnel insulation layer. A protection layer pattern or a mold is formed on the charge trapping layer. Charge trapping layer patterns are formed on the tunnel insulation layer by etching the charge trapping layer using the protection layer pattern or the mold. The charge trapping layer patterns may be spaced apart from each other. Blocking layers are formed on the charge trapping layer patterns, respectively. A gate electrode is formed on the blocking layers and the tunnel insulation layer using the protection layer pattern or the mold.
