  • Patent number: 11940501
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method and an apparatus for diagnosing low voltage of a secondary battery cell. The method for diagnosing low voltage of a secondary battery cell according to an embodiment of the present invention includes pre-aging a battery cell, charging the battery cell according to a preset charging condition, measuring a parameter for determining low voltage failure of the battery cell, comparing the measured parameter with a reference parameter, and performing formation when the battery cell is determined to be normal.

  • Patent number: 11916258
Abstract: A secondary battery comprises an electrode assembly, a can, and an insulator. The electrode assembly includes a first electrode, a separator, and a second electrode alternately stacked and wound. The can has an accommodation part accommodating the electrode assembly therein, and the can comprises a first can and a second can having cylindrical shapes open in a direction facing each other. The insulator insulates an overlapping portion between the first can and the second can. The first can is electrically connected to the first electrode, and the second can is electrically connected to the second electrode. The insulator has a short-circuit induction through-part defined by a through-hole or a cutoff line, such that a short circuit occurs between the first can and the second can through the short-circuit induction through-part when it is deformed in shape as heat or a pressure is applied to contract or expand the insulator.

  • Patent number: 7568742
Abstract: An anti-theft security device has a case having a front case and a rear case pivotably connected to each other and receiving information storage media in a space formed between the front case and the rear case, a hub formed at a center of an inner surface of one of the front and rear cases and to which the information storage media is detachably fixed, a separation prevention member inserted into the case through a side of the case and passing through the hub across over the information storage media fixed to the hub to prevent the information storage media from being separated from the hub, and a locking device selectively inserted along an insertion passage formed at a side of the case to prevent the separation prevention member from being separated from the case and to lock the case. According to the anti-theft security device, it is certainly possible to maintain the locked state of the case.

  • Publication number: 20040177657
Abstract: A security device includes a case for retaining an information storage device in the space between a front case and a rear case, plurality of locking sleeves protruding from the front case and the rear case, the locking sleeves is formed to engage each other in the manner that the holes of the locking sleeves are aligned in a closed position of the case, and a locking mechanism for latching the case, the locking mechanism inserted into the aligned holes of said locking sleeves in closed position of the case. The locking mechanism includes a housing, a hook which is selectively locked to the protrusion formed on the locking sleeve and released from it by extruding from the case and pulling back into the case, a moving member which is mounted on the slope and moves up and down the slope by magnetic force, while contacting with the side surface of the hook. The hook moves to the locking position or releasing position as the moving member goes up and down the slope.
