    Abstract: A vehicle behavior control method includes: selecting a center of gravity point at which behavior control for a vehicle is to be performed; setting a target roll behavior value and a target pitch behavior value at the selected center of gravity point such that behavior of the selected center of gravity point is less than a predefined reference value; calculating a target roll moment corresponding to the target roll behavior value and a target pitch moment corresponding to the target pitch behavior value; generating a control signal to be transmitted to at least one actuator for following the target roll moment and the target pitch moment; and transmitting the control signal to the at least one actuator to perform control such that the behavior at the selected center of gravity point is less than the predefined reference value.

    Abstract: An apparatus and a method for controlling motion of a vehicle to improve turning motion performance are provided. The processor determines a riding position of a user, receives information about a steering angle of the vehicle, and outputs a vehicle control signal with regard to turning motion performance according to at least one of a phase difference between a yaw rate and lateral acceleration or a lateral slip angle with respect to the riding position, based on the received steering angle. A controller controls the vehicle in accordance with the vehicle control signal. The apparatus provides a passenger of the vehicle with optimal turning motion performance.

When a collision occurs, the vehicle may automatically perform at least one of steering control, side braking control, or a damping control, and thus a secondary collision may be prevented, the incidence of additional injury may be reduced, the speed of the vehicle may be stably reduced or stopped, and the vehicle may be moved to a safe lane so that a stabilization time of the vehicle may be reduced.
